Opening message: Hi Folks! I hope you all are doing well! We are on days 8 and 9 of my trip. Like always this will talk about the tips and notes about my trip. Like always, this is just my experience at the time of when it was written. This is by no means going to be everyone’s experience. Some of the information is going to be outdated. I hope you enjoy it!

Exploring Japan Day 5 of Our Adventure Begins

Here are the July 18th tips/notes:

Tokyuu REI Hotel: Checking out is simple. No paperwork has to be done. Just hand in the keys to the receptionist. Beds were okay. Bathrooms were fine. Food and beverages were fine. According to my brother, the scrambled eggs weren't real scrambled eggs. Hotel views were amazing.

Hotels/Stores: There are a lot of push buttons to have the door automatically open.

Osaka: You walk in a lot of circles.

Tokyo: I would recommend that you go and eat Korean barbecue because it is amazing in Japan.

Here are the tips for July 19th:

Breakfast at the Knot hotel: It has the most American breakfast foods. My parents and my brother liked it better than me. I did like their tea. I guess I like having non American breakfast foods in general. I can see why they'd like it though. I like having leftovers from dinner and lunch typically, which is why opinion on this breakfast food is more like "take it with a grain of salt" in terms of advice.

Sleeping wise at the Knot hotel: I had a comfortable sleep and rested well. My dad stated that the pillows were too hard for him. My brother doesn't like the fact that there aren't sheets in between the comforter and the bed sheet.

Hankone - Yumoto: We went to this area via bullet train, etc. We spent the majority of time on buses and trains. Our main event was going to a Picasso art museum. My brother liked the outdoor part of the museum. I thought some of the artwork was cool, but it wasn't really my cup of tea. There were quite a bit of English things to read and not just all Japanese. I did however enjoy the foot bath. I loved the hot water and the smooth rocks below which was 65 degrees Celsius. It was so relaxing to have my feet in there. It helped me relax. This museum only accepts cash and no cards for the entry fee. I don't know about the gift shop but I'd be surprised if they took cards. After the museum, we all went to a restaurant called B&T. It is quite pricey but when we wanted food every place but that one was closed. I ordered crepes. The crepe itself was good, but the sauce was okay and the fruit reminded me of canned fruit. I was too hungry to care and ate it anyway. I did have some of my brother's bread which I liked just fine. I had some of my parents' sandwiches and soup. It was fine. The sandwiches were good. This restaurant does take credit cards. Dinner at any of the restaurants are not available in this area for some reason.

Sushi restaurant in Tokyo (conveyor belt style): the sushi was okay. The Coke was good. Same with the green tea. It wasn't bad, but not great.

Eating Pocky sticks and choco pies in Japan at least once because it is pretty Japanese in terms of desserts. I would recommend that you go and get food and/or drinks from a vending machine because it is different from America.

Closing Message: I hope you all enjoyed reading the tips and notes about the day 8 and 9 experience during my Japan 2019 trip! I look forward to you all reading the next blog! Have a great day!
