Opening message: Hi Folks! I hope you all are doing well! We are on day 5 of my trip. Like always this will talk about the tips and notes about my trip. Like always, this is just my experience at the time of when it was written. This is by no means going to be everyone’s experience. Some of the information is going to be outdated. July 15th Tips/Notes:
Hotel Vischio: Beds were comfortable. The food was overall good, but the American food was bad. There is no maple syrup much to my brother's disappointment. The scrambled eggs were disgusting according to my brother. Make sure you walk out with all of your belongings before checking out. It is a machine. You say you are checking out and insert room keys. The keys must go in one by one.
9 Hours Capsule Hotel: They have lockers for valuables and your shoes. They provide slippers to change into as well as towels, pajamas, and toothbrush, etc. I would make sure you have your keys at all times because there is an expensive fee if you lose it. Mine has a shade and a bed. Bathrooms are public. Locker rooms are narrow so keep that in mind when packing if you plan to go into one. Clothes are one size fits all. My pajamas are short for me. Lockers have a shelf and hangers for your stuff.
Rail Museum: It is very detailed with history and the moving parts. It is meant for people of all ages. Activities are made for kids, but the amount of detail goes for more teens and adults. Everyone gets to go into the train. The museum itself is huge. Having a way to translate Japanese to English would be smart because there is hardly any English in the museum. Worldly people and transportation lovers would love this museum the most.
Cabs: You must pay after you get to your destination. Everything is backwards on the driver side as an American who drives a car on the left side.
Busses: You must have everything be in coins. Figuring out the bus route isn't easy. You enter in the back and pay in the front of the bus.
100K Craft and beer restaurant: Pizza was fine. The drinks were good. The fried chicken was spectacular.
Closing Message: I hope you all enjoyed reading the tips and notes about the day 5 experience during my Japan 2019 trip! I look forward to you all reading the next blog! Have a great day!
