Opening message: Hello folks! I hope you enjoy these blogs! This is my very first blog post that talks about a Youtube channel review rather than doing something else. I hope you enjoy this blog. I hope you give this Youtube channel a chance.
What is the channel summary: This is a channel that is all about detaching from technology and simplifying life. This often uses single use technology such as music players, Kindles, etc.

What do I like about it?: I like the channel because I find the content to be interesting. It is taken more to the extreme than I am willing to go. For example, Spencer is willing to use a flip phone, iPod, other single purpose technology, vinyls, and so forth only as opposed to using just a smartphone for all of his daily use. With that said, I do appreciate the fact that Spencer likes single use items such as music players, Kindles, etc. I also do not have that many subscriptions myself and I like owning the stuff rather than “renting” it and risk it being gone in a flash. I like learning more about his values and how he uses technology to simplify his life. I find it cool how he talks about how this helps him. I like how he explains how this helps him.
What do I dislike about it?: There is not too much to talk about in this category to be honest. This is a minor criticism and honestly it really does not take it over the top regardless. I think he takes it a little bit too far with the technology and completely doing away with a smartphone. Honestly it isn’t even that much of a nitpick because I still find it interesting. I think part of it is that I cannot completely take it to that much of an extreme even though I think that what he is doing is cool. Though it might be a slight turn off for others.
Favorite episode: The iPod videos are my favorite ones. Honestly, I like all of the videos and I learn a lot as well.

Do I agree with them?: I agree that it is good to not take away all of the single use technology and that there is a place for them. I think he takes it way farther than me. I do appreciate watching his videos and they keep me hooked with all kinds of things.
Is it worth watching the channel?: I think that it is worth watching to gain a new perspective and you can learn maybe invaluable.
Is this relatable?: I think much of the older generation would find this more relatable in general but of course young people can also be interested and of course not all of the older generation would find this interesting. This would be a great channel for those who are looking to simplify their lives. I also think that this would be good for people who value single use items and want to use it as a means to focus on a single action at a time. For all of you people who want to have everything you need in one gadget or two, this is probably not for you. With that said, I think it would be interesting to watch no matter who you are so you gain a new perspective and see whether you yourself agree, somewhat agree, somewhat disagree, or disagree with his content. At the end of day, you can try it and of course as a side note this doesn’t apply to everyone but this is my guess on who would like this content. There is no harm in watching his videos and there is nothing inappropriate. Anyone can watch it, including kids.
