Opening Message
Hi Folks! I hope you're doing well. I apologize for the delay in publishing this review—it's been a little over six months since I got this tablet. This blog will cover my thoughts on the Samsung Galaxy S9 FE Plus after half a year of use. The big question is: Do I regret getting this tablet? Without further ado, let’s dive in!
Target Audience
I firmly believe this tablet is best suited for teenagers and adults, especially those passionate about digital art and media consumption. It's excellent for minimal productivity tasks, but its real strength lies in providing an immersive experience for watching content and drawing. Additionally, it’s a great option for people who need a larger screen for reading and accessibility.

Pros
Speedy Internet & Reliable Performance – The browsing experience is quick and efficient. It’s not too fast to the point of rushing your typing, but also not frustratingly slow.
Great Display – The screen offers a comfortable viewing experience with a good balance between brightness and clarity. It is not too bright or too dim.
Ideal for Drawing – The stylus is intuitive and easy to use, making digital drawing a smooth experience. The large screen provides ample space for detailed artwork. I’ve personally used it to create a coloring book for my niece and draw comics for fun. With a smaller screen, it is harder to achieve the drawing size I want, which I previously experienced with my Samsung S6 Lite tablet.
Excellent Battery Life – I only need to charge it once or twice a week, even with frequent use.
Perfect for Watching Shows – The big screen enhances the viewing experience, making anime and TV shows much more enjoyable. The screen is big enough to easily see everything happening without being overly bulky or heavy to carry around.
Seamless Connectivity – The Smart View feature works flawlessly, allowing me to project my tablet screen onto my TV without issues. I use this feature frequently when watching shows.
Portable Despite Its Size – While large, the tablet isn’t excessively bulky or heavy, making it easy to carry around.
Cons
Slow Startup – One of the most frustrating aspects of this tablet is its slow boot time. It takes around 5 to 10 minutes just to reach the lock screen, which can be annoying if you're in a hurry and want to jump into watching shows or drawing.
Size & Portability Concerns – While I personally don’t mind, some users may find the tablet too large to fit comfortably in smaller bags or backpacks. Additionally, it can feel a bit heavy over extended use. However, I use a case with a handle, which helps alleviate this issue.
Do I Still Recommend It?
Yes, I still stand by my initial recommendation. Despite the slow startup, the pros far outweigh the cons. Since purchasing it on July 6, 2024, I’ve had a great experience overall. The only regret I have is not timing my purchase better to get a better deal, but the tablet itself has been worth it.
