Evaluating the Strengths and Weaknesses of Samsung S6 Lite:

Opening message: Hi Folks! I hope you all have been doing well! I hope you all have been enjoying the various blogs that I wrote. This one is about the Samsung S6 lite 2020 tablet model and it is about my thoughts on it are. I will say that there is a 2024 model so if you choose to get it, go for the newest model. It is the same thing but an updated hard drive and hardware. The size and what it has to offer is the same. Disclaimer: This is about my personal experience and I am not sponsored and nor do I know everything about the product. I hope you like it and enjoy it.

What is it?: It is a tablet that is roughly ten inches screen space diameter. It comes with an s pen, charger, manual, and tablet.

Wix snapped this photo.

Why did I buy it?: My old tablet was very old and I wanted to have a tablet that accommodated a more updated screen. It was just very slow and I used it a lot up until the very end. The reviews were awesome too. The price was very good as well. Interestingly, it ended up being my main tool for drawing but I did not buy that in mind. It became the product after putting two and two together with the free s pen.

Why not an iPad?: I had owned an iPad before I think the build quality was lacking especially when it came to the screen's lighting. It broke and was never the same again even though it got repaired. The time I had it was always slow by the time four years ended and I was excited to be done with the tablet. On top of that, the tablet was way overpriced for what you got. There was no stylus that came free. You had to buy it separately. I know that there are people who like how Apple’s apps worked but it didn't do me any favors. I found it way more distracting than helpful.

Pros: It is a well priced tablet that you can find on sale. It has an s pen at no additional cost making it great for students who want to draw and/or take notes on a budget. It is portable and the screen size is great for watching media. Battery life is nothing to complain about either. It has the ability to print things to your printer from the tablet. It has a great life span. The tablet goes on sale a lot and the price is fantastic. It is also very sturdy. The screen never cracked once even though it was in a third party cover. I never used the feature but you can treat it like a desktop with a feature called Samsung Dex which puts everything in a desktop format. With that said, I never used it. It also has an SD card slot for expandable storage as well. I never used that feature which was unfortunate. Storage was solid overall.

Cons: This 2020 version is outdated and got laggy towards the end of its life. When it was new, it worked just fine speed wise. Towards the end of its life, it had a hard time updating everything properly. This did last for over four years. For drawing, the size is a little small.

Would I recommend it?: I would recommend this tablet for anyone who is on a budget for writing notes, likes media consumption, and wants to have a reliable tablet that lasts a long time. If I didn't want more space for drawing, I would recommend getting the updated 2024 version and not the 2020 version.

Accessories: Personally, I got a case for my tablet. It has a place for my pen. I don't remember whether I got a screen protector or not but it wouldn't hurt to get anyway.

Closing message: I hope you find this review helpful and that if you are looking into getting a tablet, it helps you decide. Thank you for reading! I look forward to you all reading the next post.
