Opening message: Hi Folks I hope you are doing well! I hope you all have been enjoying these blog posts! Today's is covering my history with photography, what I love about photography, favorite spots for photography, my social media accounts, my thoughts about my photography level, and a closing message. As a disclaimer, I am not an expert on photography and this is about my experience and opinions. I hope you enjoy!
Beginnings: I started my love for photography when I took a digital photography class during my summer semester at University of Massachusetts Amherst. I liked playing around with photo shop. The thing was that the photo quality also excited me. I wasn't going to get a fancy camera but it got great reviews and it wasn't too much more expensive than the other camera I was going to get. I was lucky that my camera was on sale.
Time before Photography commitment: While I did have a slight interest when I was a freshman in high school. I got a basic Nikon compact camera. I took photos of California and other places like Japan in 2019. For a stale amount of time, I stopped getting into photography. I even considered not replacing my camera.
What I love about photography: I found that photography allowed me to be creative, observant of the scenery, and opened the doors for a new hobby. It got me into Instagram as well and finding things I usually don't like such as nature walks to be a lot more interesting. I also found that snapping photos during vacation and getting great quality photos really made it cool. My first time snapping a photo in the rain, the quality was top notch. I loved it. In 2023, I took some Christmas photos and one of them even made an appearance on a card that was for this past Christmas. The time at the Lego museum would have not interested me a lot but my camera made it interesting and getting great footage of the Lego statues and my family made me very happy. It is also the best way to stay present in the moment. To this day, I still have a Youtube channel of my photos that I took. In November 2024, the plan is to make videos Of the photos of last and this year's travel photography.
What have I learned?: I learned about how to be creative about my photography. Arranging things to make a perfect scene is great. It is a very versatile skill that can help you from an artistic standpoint. Finding places to snap photos in unusual places is also something I learned as well. I learned why it is important to have an actual camera versus just using your phone camera especially when it comes to quality. I am amazed at how many cameras were available in Japan as well.
Favorite Places In general For Snapping Photos: I really liked snapping photos of Osaka Castle. Everything about the views and the details always made it worthwhile. It is always fun Snapping photos of weird nature but it still isn't as cool as Osaka Castle. The flower photos that I took on camera were gorgeous, especially the ones I took in the rain. Everything was crystal clear and of great quality.
Favorite photo of a living creature: I have a dog. He is my favorite subject for my photography because he is very photogenic and is very cute.

Am I A Master Of Photography?: Absolutely not. I have a lot to learn about getting great shots, what to use for the proper settings, and so forth.
