Miffy Bluetooth Earbuds Review:

By Lars Guo

Published: July 30, 2024

Opening message: Hi Folks! I hope you are doing well! This blog is a review on a Japanese brand of wireless earbuds called Miffy. This will include what I like and dislike about it, and why I got them. It will also cover who the audience is for the earbuds. Disclaimer: I am not sponsored by this brand. I am only talking about my thoughts about them and my experience with them as my main wireless earbuds.

Background: During 2023, my first pair of wireless earbuds had gone missing and I was trying to replace them with better earbuds. My first couple of tries included one out of two earbuds working. The other one had issues with sound quality. Although that is what I get for choosing cheap earbuds, unfortunately. These occurrences happened in the United States and Canada. I was so fed up that I figured that, while I was in Japan, I could find quality earbuds that were not going to cost me a fortune to get quality wireless earbuds. That is when I ran into these cute white wireless earbuds from the company Miffy in Japan. The earbuds had cute animal face designs and they were small and portable. I made sure they worked before I left the store as well. I am glad they work with any device, even those that are from different countries, which was something I was worried about when purchasing these in Japan. I was looking to buy wireless earbuds so I can watch content with friends since I mainly have one wireless earbud for calling with a microphone for phone calls. This allowed me the flexibility to share earbuds with my friends and family if we choose to watch something together without disrupting others.

Audience: This mainly targets people who likes to connect using Bluetooth to hear your respective devices. It is also worth noting that it is not meant for kids who would swallow or even outright put the earbuds in their mouths and choke. Other than that, there really isn't much of a requirement. I don't remember whether there were other color options, but I got the white earbuds from Miffy. If you are looking for very colorful earbuds or anything uniform, this is not for you.

Earbuds Description: The earbuds I have two different designs on each bud. One of them has a face and the other has a bunny on the other. I am not sure whether this one was a Japan exclusive but that is where I got them. I have seen some other Miffy earbuds that are being sold on the internet, but I am not sure whether the pair I got could be found.

Why do I like them?: I like them because they are small and portable. They also have a cute design. Most important that the sound quality is flawless. For the most part, they stay in your ear and are not intrusive. The earbud case is cute as well. It blocks out a lot of noise which is nice. The earbuds were on the cheaper side of mid range earbuds. I like how it is hard to see with the naked eye unless you are actively trying to look for them in particular. They are great to pair for any device even if they were from different countries. I like the sound quality as well. I went to the library recently for listening practice and I used the earbuds and I was blown away and it really made me super happy that I got these earbuds and got it for a great deal.  They are very comfortable.

What do I not like about them?: My biggest gripe with them is that it is still not particularly great for phone calls. Sometimes they would fall out of your ears, but it does not happen all that often. Honestly, there are not that many things to say about their negatives because for the most part they are great. If you are trying to connect them and do not know the name of the earbuds you are trying to pair due to no translations, it could be a slight issue. Luckily for me, I spoke some Japanese and was able to communicate with the shop clerk to straighten things out. The overall lifespan of these earbuds is about a year in my experience using these earbuds.

Do I recommend them?: While there are more expensive wireless earbuds, I would absolutely recommend these wireless earbuds. I think the pros outweigh the cons. Overall, it does what I want in terms of being able to hear videos. If you are looking for phone calls, I would consider getting a different pair. Overall, it is worth the money.

Closing message: I hope you enjoyed this blog and that you could pick up a pair of these wireless earbuds. I am sorry I could not provide you any links since I got this in a Japanese store in Japan and have no idea where you can get them online. I also do not remember what store I got them in Japan either. Anyway, I look forward to you all reading the next blog! Have a wonderful day! Stay safe, happy, and healthy!
