A Culinary Journey: My Favorite Japanese Restaurant Experience

Opening message: Hi Folks! I hope you have been enjoying the blogs! This one is about my favorite restaurant in Japan. It covers what the restaurant is, pros and cons, why it is my favorite restaurant, and why I went to the restaurant to begin with. Disclaimer: I am not sponsored by the restaurant. I am talking about my experience and thoughts about the restaurant. I hope you enjoy the blog!

I took a picture of the menu. Of course the menu images that you see are not my own. This is only being used to show you what you are looking for.

Favorite Restaurant and why I went there: Tsuruhashi Gyuichi is my favorite restaurant.  It is a Japanese barbecue place in Osaka near the Dotonbori District. I went there because I didn't have enough cash to go anywhere else and went there a lot because I loved it after my initial first day in Osaka during my 2023 trip!

Audience and advice: This is perfect for people who can afford a little bit more on high end for eating quality Kobe beef for Japanese barbecue. This isn't really meant for kids. You control how you want your meat to be cooked so it is important to only bring at least one person who is responsible with grill fires.

Pros: It has excellent food especially the sorbet for all of the flavors such as kiwi, mango, etc. It is very true to its natural flavors that it said it was. For example, the mango sorbet tasted just like mango in sorbet form. It is a very quiet and peaceful environment. I have never had an issue with noise and that is during peak business hours. It has a great private barbecue area. I had my own little room for making my steak and having the Japanese barbecue restaurant experience. It takes credit cards and cash. The staff was very nice, helpful, and friendly. Everything was very flavorful. You can taste everything clearly and distinguish the flavors easily.

Cons: Unfortunately, while the food was amazing, it was very expensive. It doesn't have that many options besides beef and sorbets, but nonetheless the food was amazing. Sometimes the staff had a little bit of trouble understanding me due to the limited amount of English they had. I did not have an issue all of the time since I know some Japanese but still could be a little bit troublesome for non Japanese speakers.

Closing message: I hope you enjoyed the blog! I hope you get to go some day! I look forward to having you all read the next blog! Have a great day!
