The Story Behind My Bulbasaur and Its Instagram Presence

Opening Message: Hi Folks! I hope you are doing well! This blog is about my second favorite Pokémon, Bulbasaur, and more importantly, the story behind my Bulbasaur Instagram. I hope you enjoy it!
Background on Why I Made This: I created a Bulbasaur photoshoot Instagram because Bulbasaur can stand up without any support, making it perfect for pictures. It’s my favorite Grass-type Pokémon and is relatively easy to find in stores since it’s a Generation 1 Grass-type starter. The anime also played a huge part in why I love Bulbasaur.
Why I Like Bulbasaur in General: I adore how Bulbasaur is presented in the anime. Bulbasaur is portrayed as a brave, tough Grass-type starter that protects the weak and maintains peace. Ash’s Bulbasaur is caring and serves as a great mentor to May’s Bulbasaur, who becomes Ash’s future companion. Bulbasaur is smart, cute, and has a meaningful character arc in the anime. Additionally, I believe the Bulbasaur evolutionary line is one of the strongest among Grass starters. Its typing gives it a significant advantage in early game battles, as the first two gyms are weak against Grass types. Plus, it’s immune to poisoning, which makes it even more formidable.
Bulbasaur in the Anime: Ash’s Bulbasaur is both tough and caring, showing great love for people and compassion for weaker Pokémon. Meanwhile, May’s Bulbasaur is sweet, cute, and enjoys participating in contests. Both have multiple appearances throughout the anime. While Bulbasaur makes a brief cameo in "Pokémon Horizons," it was only to show someone choosing it as a starter and had no significant impact on the story.

The beach photo at Juno Beach: This one stands out thanks to my aunt and uncle, who helped make it spectacular.
The cupcake photos: They’re adorable and bring out Bulbasaur’s playful side.
The group photos of Bulbasaurs: These capture the joy of community and friendship.
Least Favorite Photos: Photos where Bulbasaur gets partially cut off are my least favorite. When Bulbasaur is supposed to be the star of the photo, cutting it off diminishes the overall quality.
Favorite Reels:
The birthday reels: These were fun to put together, and the plush looked genuinely happy celebrating with a cupcake.
The Thanksgiving reel: This one was special because I included anime references about what the Bulbasaurs were thankful for.
Least Favorite Reels: The Rice and Noodle reel was my least favorite because my poor camera work made it dizzying to watch.
Bulbasaur Chat Group: The Bulbasaur chat group brings me so much joy! We have many participants who love discussing all things Bulbasaur. Special thanks to my first Bulbasaur Instagram friend for gathering fans and creating such a wonderful community. Everyone is kind, and it’s a great space for connection.
