Unique Fuecoco Custom Tee Shirts: A Personal Creation:

Opening message: Hi Folks! I hope you all have been enjoying the blogs! This one is about my Fuecoco tee shirts that I made. I love Fuecoco a lot and I had yet to create my merchandise to really show off my love for that Pokemon. In fact, it is my favorite Pokemon. I have a lot of Fuecoco plushies but no wearables so I thought that, rather than buying a generic tee shirt to show off my love for the Pokemon, I thought I would use the photos that I took to post on Instagram to do it. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the rest of the blog about my Fuecoco tee shirt. Fuecoco with gold: There are some pros to the shirt. I really like how the picture is one of a kind. The photo cannot be recreated. Fuecoco looking interested in stealing the gold feels pretty interesting. In the anime, it shows Fuecoco is stealing food, so while it is not the same, it is a good nod to Fuecoco's thievery. I really like how Fuecoco is messy when looking through the gold as well. The color of the shirt really compliments the colors of the shirt really well. I think the cons lie in how small it is. I wish it were a little bit bigger. I also wish the picture was a little bit straighter. Although it is a cool effect of Fuecoco sliding off with the gold while it is getting away.

Fuecoco with the popcorn: The pros of the shirt is that I put a little bit of my own artistry into the shirt by making Fuecoco's popcorn bag. It is a good nod to the movie theater theme that I was going for. I also like the color of the shirt as well. I really like that Fuecoco is perfectly sized in the shirt as well. I think the vertical look really works here. There are a couple of cons as well. For example, perhaps red on red was not the brightest choice because Fuecoco sort of fades into the background. I can see it just fine, but adding some more white around it would have solved that problem more so. The popcorn is harder to define in the photo. 

Why no letters/characters?: The reason why I did not add Fuecoco's name in Japanese is because it would be too complicated when printing. As is, it was hard enough to print and transfer the photos of Fuecoco onto the shirt. Would it be cool to add some Japanese? Of course it would be because I am learning Japanese. I also think it would draw too much attention away from Fuecoco being the star of the shirt. 

Which one do I like better? And why?: In the end, I have to say that I prefer the Fuecoco with the popcorn one. I always had it in my head that Fuecoco is going to have popcorn and the artistry that I put behind the bag made it fairly easy for me to decide that one. While it has its issues, I like the red that I chose to give Fuecoco a movie theater-like feeling that I was going for. I like the colors that I chose for it. I think the border would be an easy fix to still highlight Fuecoco more. Since I physically created the props used for the photo, it definitely feels more custom than the others which were using the store materials to create. I like the vertical image better. Perhaps I should have put it in black to show off the colors better for the red and the white and show off how the movies that are playing are in a darker theater. While the set up and the actual photo is incredibly hard to recreate with the gold coins and it still looks cool, I just have a love for the red shirt more.
